Dumpster Reservations

DUMPSTER RESERVATIONS BEGIN APRIL 1ST

Beginning April 1^st - There will be a $75.00 charge for the dumpster.  To make a reservation for the dumpster, you need to come to the Village Office (8am – 4pm); we can not take calls for reservations. Payment of $75.00 will be due at time of making your reservation -  No contractor’s debris will be accepted.  The Village crew will leave the dumpster at the end of your driveway on a Wednesday and pick it up the following Wednesday.  Mark your calendar for April 1^st to stop in the Village Office to schedule the dumpster.

RULES & REGULATIONS

1. THIS DUMPSTER IS PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS FOR A CHARGE OF $75.00.
2. THIS DUMPSTER WILL BE DELIVERED ON THE WEDNESDAY THAT WAS REQUESTED.  THE DUMPSTER WILL BE DROPPED AT THE END OF YOUR DRIVEWAY.  AT THE AVAILABLITY OF DPW, YOU CAN CALL THE VILLAGE OFFICE AT 434-2922 TO REQUEST THE DUMPSTER TO BE EMPTIED ONCE BEFORE THE DUMPSTER IS PICKED UP.
3. DUMPSTER USE IS FOR ONE WEEK ONLY.  IT WILL BE PICKED UP THE FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY.  MAKE SURE THE DUMPSTER IS NOT BLOCKED BY ANYTHING THE DAY THAT THE DUMPSTER IS TO BE PICKED UP.

ITEMS YOU MAY NOT DISCARD IN DUMPSTER:

• THE TOWN OF COLONIE LANDFILL CHARGES INDIVIDUALS FOR DISPOSAL OF THESE ITEMS.  FOR MORE INFORMATION, CALL THE LANDFILL AT 783-2827.
• TELEVISIONS
• COMPUTER MONITORS
• TIRES
• MEDICAL OR HAZARDOUS WASTE
• PROPANE TANKS
• CANS CONTAINING WET PAINT - Paint may be dried by leaving lids off cans for several days.
• CONTRACTOR’S DEBRIS - When you hire a contractor, it is the contractor’s responsibility to carry away the old carpet, cabinets, appliances, lumber, etc.
