Our feature business for October is News Channel 13, WYNT Albany.

WYNT originally began serving the Capital District airways in 1954 as WTRI with studios and a transmitter site on Bald Mountain just outside of Troy. The station moved to its present location at 715 North Pearl Street in 1955. The station was sold to Sondering Broadcasting and the call letters were changed to WAST.

Albany Truck Sales was founded in 1996 as Albany Mack Sales/Albany Truck Sales and was located in Rensselaer. The company moved to 90 Harts Lane in Menands in 2003 and expanded its inventory to include new manufacturers.

The company is headquartered in Poughkeepsie, N. Y. and also has an office in Kingston, with twenty one full time employees throughout all three locations.

The company has been in business for over 40 years and has properties in four counties within the Capital District area. Among their local holdings are Stonehenge Gardens in Albany, Fairwood Apartments and Racquet Club in Guilderland, and Fenimore Trace in Latham.
