Minutes of the Public Hearing held on Monday, April 5th, 2010 Mayor Thomas G. Coates opened the Public Hearing at 7:00 P.M.

The Clerk read the notice:
A Public Hearing for Board Members will be held by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Menands in the Municipal Building of such Village on Monday, April 5th at 7:00 P.M. to discuss proposed Local Law Amending Chapter 30 of the Village Code of the Village of Menands pertaining to the Planning Board and Environmental Quality review powers, and noted section of the following Chapter 140 Site Plan Review; Chapter 148 Subdivision of Land; Chapter 172 Site Plan Review Regulations and Chapter 173 Subdivision Regulations.
The Clerk explained the law and the changes to the other sections of the Village Code. Trustee Lane offered his reasons for introducing the law.
Trustee Lansing thanked Trustee Lane for the job he did in developing the law, however, he feels it is premature based upon the Economic Development Study, and that other recommendations should come first.
The Mayor asked if there were any further questions or comments, hearing none the Mayor closed the Public Hearing at 7:10 P.M.
