SPOTLIGHT ON MENANDS BUSINESS – SEPT. 2010
After a brief hiatus, the Spotlight series is returning to continue our review of the many businesses that are located in the Village. Our feature business for this month is Farrell Bros. Inc, which is located at 6 Simmons Lane.
Farrell Bros. was founded in 1921 and was purchased by the current owner and President, Randy L. Rowe, in 1995. The company employees an average of fifteen full time people and offers heating, plumbing, air conditioning, electrical and remodeling services. A wide variety of clients are served with the majority being residential customers.
These services are provided to customers throughout the Capital District region with the help of nine vehicles that are equipped to deliver the services on site. The company offers same day service calls and encourages customers to utilize an “appointment window” so they know when to expect the technician. In addition, a 24 hour live operator answering service is available for emergency repair.
Farrell Bros. is a member of Angie’s List, which is a web-based consumer advisory service that contains information about contractors and professionals in the Albany area as well as throughout the United States. The List offers reviews of listed companies relating to customer satisfaction and provides guides on selecting a service professional.
The company can be reached at 462-5454 or on the web at www.farrellbrothers.com. Please consider them if you are in need of plumbing or any of the other services they offer.
