                            THANK YOU
First of all I would like to thank all those who could attend my retirement dinner and for all the thank you cards and gifts.  I would like to also thank those who couldn’t attend, but still sent me gifts in the mail.  Personally I would like to thank the Menands PBA for setting up the party and the gift they gave me.  I would like to thank Sgt. Gene Conners for the opening benediction, Jeffrey Selchick for the wonderful job he did as master of ceremonies, my two brothers John and Leonard for their comments, Kevin Franklin for taking the photographs, and also our Mayor John Bishop for his comments.  Again I would like to say thank you to all the Village residents who have supported me over the last 26 years and also supported the Menands Police Dept.  I would like to personally say to the guys I have worked with over the years that it’s been a pleasure and an honor to have worked with such a great bunch of guys.  You will be in my prayers everyday, and please remember me and my family in your prayers.  Thank you.
                                     Sincerely,
                                     Peter J. Forner, Badge 109
